Elevate Government Affairs Hires Rodney Davis Chief of Staff Bret Manley as an Executive Vice President

(Washington, DC – 12/07/2022) Elevate Government Affairs, LLC is pleased to announce that Bret Manley has joined the firm effective December 5, 2022, as an Executive Vice President.

Bret comes to Elevate with over 15 years of experience working in various roles for Republican Members in the House of Representatives. He most recently served as Chief of Staff for Rep. Rodney Davis (R-IL), Ranking Member on both the Committee on House Administration and the House Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Highways and Transit. While in this position, Bret oversaw the development and implementation of policy objectives on a wide range of issues, while also acting as the Representative’s liaison to House Leadership, the NRCC and White House policy and political staff.

Prior to leading Rep. Davis’s office, Bret served as Chief of Staff for former Rep. Jeff Denham (R-CA) between 2017 and 2019, having previously been his Legislative Director. While working for Rep. Denham Bret gained valuable transportation policy experience while serving as the assistant to the Representative while he was Chair of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines and Hazardous Materials. Bret began his Congressional career with former Rep. Gary Miller (R-CA) in 2007.

Bret spent seven years as an Officer in the United States Navy Reserves and graduated from the University of California Berkely Haas School of Business in 2005.
