Allison Nyholm, Executive Vice President

Allison Nyholm has 30 years of experience working in energy policy and community development. She has led policy teams and accelerated next generation energy deployment through coalition building and strategic advocacy. Allison pragmatically has ensured progressive energy development, and successfully secured provisions within the transformative clean energy tax package of the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 to enable more than 80 billion in new tax equity for development.

She has advanced federal policy within the Alaska Governor’s Office in Washington, DC, and facilitated appropriations for Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK). Additionally, Allison has worked with trade associations and companies to fulfill environmental and energy needs for projects and industry. She understands supply chain requirements and works with international and domestic companies to deploy energy across the nation.

Allison holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and an MPP in resource policy from George Washington University. She received her BA from the University of Alaska, Southeast, and was raised in Soldotna, AK. She serves as chair of the Louisa Swain Foundation where she has developed a scholarship fund and is coordinating with the Smithsonian Women’s History Museum to promote civic leadership among women.
